    Recommend going Off-Season!

    Awesome spot to have found!

Plenty of parking for us; there is a $10 cash only parking fee. The trip to the beach itself was short with a decent amount of stairs, but nothing too horrible.

The beach is massive! Went here off-season (Mid-October at 11am) and couldn't have been a better time. There was virtually no one there, just one family and two other couples during the hour or so we were there with our dog.

We must have missed the sand dollar season as we didnt even see one; nonetheless the beach itself was awesome to walk up and down and the view of the mountains was breathtaking.

    Warm, enclosed beach

Dog friendly on leash. Not too crowded. Enclosed on both sides by rocks. Moderate hike down / up to beach. Surprising low amount of sand dollars. Good time.
    - a few people broke rules and had dogs off leash. Stressed out dogs on leash.
