There are always so many dogs here and a lot of regulars. Chance always gets to meet new friends and the play area is huge. During summer hours they also have small pools for the dogs to cool off in and plenty of water dishes and a water fountain for your pups. Perfect place for big and small.
- MarkMar 21, 2021HUGE 3-acre off leash dog park
We take our dog here regularly and he loves it since there is so much space to run. They have a covered pavilion for when it’s hot in the summer and a watering station for both people and dogs. There is also a separate area for smaller dogs which rarely has more than 3-4 dogs. If it’s nice outside it’s pretty common to see 20+ dogs in the larger 3-acre space for any size dogs. We have never experienced any issues here and love it.
- JessicaDec 27, 2020Great fenced-in dog park
We have been visiting this park regularly for the past 8-9 months and have had zero issues. Lots of local friendly regulars, and open to newcomers as well! Benches, pavilion with shade, water pump with hose, and a separate area for small dogs all make it a hidden gem in Liberty. I'm sad to see several comments about issues with inattentive owners or aggressive dogs- I have not experienced this in the 50+ times I have been there!

Wonderful dog park with friendly dogs and friendly people. Great place to socialize for people and dogs. I will definitely come again and again.
- OwnerAug 9, 2018Bad owner and pet behavior
Stopped by from out of town and my completely mellow dog was attacked by a dog and had to get a lot of stitches. The attacking dog's owner was paying no attention, but then bolted after the incident without taking any responsibility or paying for the damage.

Shady, large, nice park. Nice locals there. Worked perfectly for us as we were traveling through the area.

We get incredibly excited when mom tells us we get to go to the dog park! We meet nice dogs every time, there's tons of tennis balls we love to play with and even some Frisbees! All the owners are really nice and pet me. Sometimes I give the wrong human my ball, but they still throw it for me!

i was there with my own dogs, we watched a young lady bring in her 2 dogs, right when the bigger dog walked into the gate there was a black wolf dog came up an approched the young ladys dog, and started to attack it. so they both speperated them, then a few minutes lady, the black wolf dog attacked the dog again, i will no longer attend the park if you guys allow this kind of behavor.the owner of the wolf dog , didnt care about the young lady and her dog. people are so ungratful. i hope the young ladys dog is ok!

We took our two year old Border Collie for the first time...There were probably 10 other dog owners and everyone was so nice! Small talk, a couple of handshakes and not only does Thor have new friends, but so do we! Great that water was available...There are also agility training tools (too muddy for us today, but look forward to another day.) Only one downside, there was quite a bit of poo around the perimeter - really distracted our ball playing. Please pick up after your pooch, and make sure to visit this park regularly.

It's to bad there's not a place like this in KC. Owners were very patient when my anxious dog was introduced to surrounding dogs. A good place to desensitize nervous dogs.

The only issue I have had is a couple with failed common sense: bringing their young children to the dog park and when my large dog walked by one of them freaked out resulting in an angry parent. My dog is supposed to have a restriction of where he can play in a DOG park???
The ruled clearly state bringing children 5 years and younger is discouraged. The area is clean, large and full of fun times for my dogs! Most of the owners are very aware of their dogs! I love this place!!!

Love this park!!! Everyone is super friendly people pick up after their pet there is water available. In the summer they have a kiddy pool and they have a tunnel, weave pol and a medium A frame. There is also a separate area for smaller dogs. My dog had a blast!
