My cattle dog absolutely loved the tubing. She sat on my lap most of the time then went in her own tube. She was an angel. My family and I had a blast. We highly recommend doing this with your dog and family. A tube with a bottom & a tether is provided for the dog, bring their life jacket. Can’t say enough good things about River rat

    Amazing Time!

We all had a blast river tubing! The water level was very low when we went so my husband and I did have to get out and walk a few times, but Jasper stayed in tube. I was sure that Jasper would not want to stay in his tube, but he loved it! He was so relaxed he even fell asleep at one point! Dogs are given their own tube with a bottom and you tether them to your tube, you do have to bring your own life jacket. It was a hot day, but it didn't bother Jasper as we just dipped him in the river if he seemed to be getting hot. It is a long trip, the length depends on the water level, since it was so low it took us about 3 1/2 hours to tube the entire river. We would definitely recommend this activity, especially to cool off on hot days!

    Fun

I was searching Bring Fido app for our first trip with a dog. Smokey Mountain River Rat Tubing came up as an adventure. This was a great dog friendly attraction. I would recommend to check water levels because it was very low for our reserved day and we didn’t have to time to change, so we went anyways. My husband spent a lot time having to walk and push us around. The website was very specific and sent texts stating that water was very low.

    Dog friendly and very fun

This was one of our favorites on our trip. My little yorkie loved it! They will give you a tube for your dog but we opted to hold ours since she is so small. The river wasn't flowing to fast and my dog never fell off. You do have to bring your own life jacket for them. Best advice is to take a paddle or stick in case you get stuck it can be a lot of work to keep going. Wish they allowed dogs on Outpost B as well.

    My pup loved it!

Got a tube for our water loving pup, but she spent most of the ride in our laps as the ride was bumpy. She had a great time swimming and watching the people and scenery. The water was a bit cold in July, but it did not bother our pup and we got used yo it quickly. Pro tip, do not tether together a bunch of rafts as you will get stuck on rocks constantly. And keep your butt up so it doesn’t hit the rocks. You should definitely bring your water loving dog here!!

    Excellent Pet Friendly Adventure!

We took our water lovin’ lab and she loved it!! The water was a bit chilly but that didn’t stop her from swimming and riding the tubes with us. We were encouraged to get a tether and her own float. In the future we will forgo both just because when she wasn’t swimming on her own she was in one of our floats and was not comfortable in her own tube. Over all I give it a 5/5 on pet friendliness! Definitely will be back!

    So much fun!

My dog did not particularly like the tube so he ended up riding down the river with us. But he is small so it tossed him around alot. He had lots of fun though!

Can't wait to float with them again!

We tubed with our pup at their Main Tubing Outpost - we'll be back again next season! They provide dog tubes and have tethers for a refundable fee of $2 to tie your tube to theirs. Awesome afternoon. Great facilities.

Stop at the Burger Master up the street after too! They have treats for you and your pup.
