  Love taking my dog here!

  There are always lots of art exhibits happening here and this is definitely one of the most dog friendly places in Lowell. Many of the artists/residents will have their dogs with them as well at their studios. Each studio has its own opening times, but most will be open the first Saturday of each month. There is also a dog friendly brewery called Navigation attached to the building. This place is truly a hidden gem to explore with your dog.

  Western Avenue Studios actually has 245 studios in two buildings. You can visit both the Artist Studios as well as Live and Work Artist Lofts. There are over 300 artists in the community. The listing for Western Avenue Studios and Lofts needs to be updated a little. I can vouch that it is a dog friendly place. You can walk through the building with your dog and see so many different mediums of art. It'll probably take you a couple of visits to see every studio, and things change. Don't forget to also visit the in house Micro Brewery (Navigation Brewery) as well as the Onyx Room, which periodically hosts shows. You can check their Facebook page for details. There is also now a Pokemon Gym at Western Avenue Studios, if you or your kids are into PokemonGo
