I would like to like this park but unfortunately it is not fenced and so my dog is nervous around other dogs sometimes and tries to run into the parking lot. For other dogs it is probably great as there is plenty of room to run free!

The Laguna Lake Park is not "all inclusive"dog park. The only part that is the "dog park" is the immediate green lawn area in front of the bathrooms located towards the back of the park.If you were to look around you'd see an eucalyptus grove, open fields and a lake that is unfit human use all these areas are ticket-able offenses for your dog to be off leash, yes swimming in the lake. One visitor received a ticket for $516.00 for having her dog off leash. If you like a green patch for your dog to romp this is your place if you like to let your dog off leash keep an eye peeled for City Park Employees they like nothing else better than to write you a ticket.
- GrisbyMore than a year agophenomenal park!
Don't be swayed by any bad reviews, I've traveled across the country and been to hundreds of parks and this is one of the top on the list! Unless you have a dog that bolts and will never return to you, you have nothing to fear about the "no fense". The park is huge and gorgeous and your dog will love it! Public restrooms, groves of mature trees, water for fido, mountains to hike, expansive grass area to run, tennis balls, responsible dog owners and even horses to view in the distance. Take your dog here!
- LisaMore than a year agoHuge and Beautiful!
Small openings in the fence but our dog loved the space. Friendly regulars and rest areas for two legged creatures.
- PaulaMore than a year agoThis park is NOT FENCED
While this dog park looks like a fun place for dogs, with grass, shade etc. it is NOT FENCED at all! Dogs that might run can do so in any direction!
