Double Bluff Beach

Double Bluff Beach in Freeland, WA, is dog friendly. Fido will go wild for the chance to run off-leash along this two-mile stretch of beautiful wide sand. Once you're finished for the day, ensure Fido is back on his leash, then head to the doggie washing station to rinse off all the sand. Visit Website

    Best Off Leash Park Ever

This is an amazing off-leash park with miles of walking. Tons of room for your dog to roam. Breathtaking views of Seattle, Mount Rainier and the shipping lanes. The sand is soft not rockie like many Puget Sound beaches.

    Perfect Beach

It’s at one end of a huge flat beach. After you reach the designated spot you can let um go! The beach is very flat so there is a large expanse at low tide. It’s easy to walk out into the water with your dog. Plenty of driftwood if you forget a ball. The only problem is limited parking. There are probably 20 spots.

    Long walks on the beach

Maintained by FETCH!, this beach has easy access (although a rather small parking lot that fills up quickly on summer mornings. Parking is OK on certain areas of the road going in, but not all places). Dogs are required to be on-leash until they reach a designated spot a few hundred feet down the beach, then they are free to run. I've been to this beach many times (best in winter with fewer crowds), and have yet to reach the end of the walkable area. Great views of the Olympics, Seattle in the distance and the shipping lanes in Admiralty Inlet. Has a dog-shower at the entrance to wash off sandy paws.

    Great place for dogs

We took our newfie puppy to get his paws wet in the sea for the first time. He loved it. It is a no fence beach so all dogs that visit should be well

    Best Dog Beach on Islland

Something for every member of the pack. My Golden Doodle loved it, as well as my 7 year old Grand Daughter!

    GREAT BEACH

Tide pools, other dogs, pet friendly accomodations--what more could a dog want.

    great but

... there is a short hike, over rough ground (driftwood) before you get to the park of the beach where you can let the dog off-leash. If your dog is a crazy 'puller' on the leash, and you are not steady on your feet, go to Brons or Patmore Pit instead.

This park is also NOT FENCED, so if your dog will run forever unless he hits a fence, again, go to one of Whidbey's other great dog parks
