Don't walk your dog here or you will get ticketed. This is not a legal dog park. There are signs posted which state the illegality of running a unleashed dog in this area. However, you see others breaking the law so you think its okay. Then the Orange County Animal Control shows up and give out tickets. Also, on the way to and from the beach, if your dog is not on a leash, you will get a second ticket from the City of Newport Beach Animal Control. So, conceivably you can get two tickets within minutes. So many irresponsible dog owners here too, with feces on the sidewalk, street, and grassy area where people picnic. Ewww, gross. Don't thees picnickers know there's dog feces, dog feces residue, and urination is everywhere. Also, its not really safe because the police say that cars get broken into a lot and I have a seen a lot of bums in the ares.
