Morris Island

Morris Island is an undeveloped island at the mouth of Charleston Harbor that's only accessible by private boats. It is a fantastic place for long, off-leash beach strolls, dolphin-watching, and hunting for shells and fossilized shark teeth. Put on sunscreen and bring plenty of water for you and your pup. No boat? No problem! Adventure Harbor Tours offers 3-hour dog friendly tours of the island for $50 per adult and $30 per child (dogs free). Call (843) 442-9455 for more information. Visit Website

    Great dog friendly trip

This was a great experience for both myself and Duke. He loved feeling the wind in his face and getting loves from all the other passengers! I would 100% do this again!

Perfect Adventure with our fur baby!

We started by riding in the boat, shaded area towards the back so my 90lb Pitt could be protected by the hot boat floor. Once we were on the island, we were able to let him off the leash and run until his heart was content. The tour guide was wonderful, the people were friendly, and the island was beautiful!! Remember to bring sunscreen, doggy water bowl, and snacks. We brought a carry-on cooler and it worked out great. SO MUCH FUN!!
