    No lake use at all...

Well, that was a fake "Oh boy! A lake" Very excited... At the fee office"This is a drinking water reservoir , so, not wading, no dogs in the lake (a puzzled Labrador), no swimming, maybe a little fishing from shore but on the whole, just stay away from the water... Bummer

    Water in the desert

This is a beautiful place to see. It is a man made lake. One of the employees told us that they pump water from the Colorado River to fill the lake. The water is so blue. You can fish for carp that have been placed in the lake. There's not a lot of shade so bring an umbrella and sunscreen. Dogs are allowed for a small fee.
