  A Tad Too Dicey for My Liking!

  The park has little to no grass and is very muddy. The enclosure with water-access is small and dangerous with big, uneven rocks scattered about the water-line. There wasn’t much shade, either.

  The people I met were nice, but I’ve heard that irresponsible dog owners are a common occurrence. I don’t recommend visiting this spot.

  Worst in Bend

  Dirt, gravel and aggressive dogs with owners not seeming to care. I am surprised the Bend Park District doesn’t improve this space. it could be a great dog park along the busy trail.

  Water access dog park

  Great dog park with fenced off leash area for playing. Its really a large dirt area fenced in with a small shaded area with a bench. There was poop bags avaliable and garbage cans. I didn't see and drinking water though. Next to the off leash area is a water front off leash area. The river has a current though so be careful if your pup has not encountered that before. Lots of people at this spot. Lots of parking as well. Lots of activity around the dog park; people floating down the river, people on bikes, people walking, etc. So if your pup gets overstimulated keep that in mind.

  Not the Best

  There are a few issues with this dog park/beach. First of all there is no grass in the dog park area and the area can be dirty and at times smelly. The dog "beach" is not set up well for dogs. It is concrete and rocks, small. and not very user friendly. I am not sure who planned this space but I doubt it was someone with a dog. It is a place where your dog can cool off "legally" but it is not a destination.

  This place is great! Right on the river walk for swimming and running.

  This was an awesome spot for my dog to cool off after a long walk around the Warehouse District.

  Dog Walks

  Nice area with large and small dog area, as well as a river beach off leash area. Also great loop to walk around the river.

  Dog park smells, lots of aggressive dogs, and owners who do really care. No impressed. Go to Big Sky
