If you can carry your dog they can accompany you in the museum which we thought was really cool. All the staff were super nice dog people.

Big lot. Some shade if needed and pretty good potty break areas. Dogs welcome if in dog stroller.

We went on a day that was foggy. Even though we couldn’t see Crazy Horse- we had a great time walking through the expansive visitor’s center. The workers were sweet about my dog. I was asked to keep her off the wood floors and carried her through all of the indoor exhibits. Even without seeing the memorial- the expansive history and meaning made it worth the trip.

This is a fascinating attraction, and if you have a small dog, you can spend a LOT of time here. Large dogs are not allowed in the museum area, and since all the food and the best photo opportunities are through the museum, if you can't carry your dog, he can't go.

One of the most dog friendly monuments we've visited in our travels. They'll even let you bring small dogs inside the museum (that can be carried). Amazing story and history - definitely visit and read the displays inside.

My dog gizmo went everywhere and petted by everyone. He seemed to enjoy the indian dancers. He really liked the bus ride. I enjoyed the beauty of all the art especially the brass gates.

The story is amazing. Don't pass this by.
