When visiting Vail, CO, take some time out of your day to visit the dog-friendly Vail Nature Center. Leashed dogs are welcome to explore the grounds of the Nature Center with you. The Center offers a wide variety of programs and tours. Sometimes the naturalists there will even schedule a special dog hike! Visit Website

Quiet trails
I've been walking my dog here on-and-off for the past 6 months and she really enjoys the variety of smells. There is a creek that runs alongside some of the paths. I've never found the trails to be crowded. At the east end of the trails is a golf course- no dogs allowed. The north and west ends are bordered by Ford Park which is an on-leash park.
