Derby Reach Regional Park

This is an amazing off-leash area with access to the Fraser River for dogs to swim in. There is 3 large fenced in parks with benches and trees just beside the camping area. The park is very well maintained and there is free poop bags provided. Visit Website

    Best Dog Park around

Everything you want in a dog park and more. The only things could be "leash optional" walking trails and a larger dog beach. But otherwise 5 out of 5. Thanks Langley for this fine park!

    Fantastic Dog Park

Took the "beast of burden" to this park for the first time today and she absolutely loved it.

This park is large. There's a completely separate entrance for those with horses which I accidentally came across first, around I'm guessing 220th, there's also a campground, and I'm sure many other features I haven't yet come across.

I believe the entrance area for the dog area is called "Edgewater" . To access it, go all the way north up 208th, then follow the signs. You'll hang a right where the road indicates a dead end ahead. The park entrance will come up on your left around 500m to a kilometer or so down the road.

There are three big dog areas and one small dog area - all fully fenced, gated and with gravel paths for those of us who prefer not to get our feet dirty. Each of the big dog areas have different features; one goes right down to the river, has picnic tables, a variety of trees and grassy areas (long and trimmed), while the other two are fully enclosed, one with picnic tables and trees, the other with no trees or picnic tables, perfect for a good game of fetch/frisbee. The big dog areas are accessible to one another through gates. Lots of free doggy poop bags available. Water is also available, but no bowl provided that I could see, and the tap is back in the parking area, possibly a shared tap with the campgrounds.

Park is well kept. It's a bit far for me but I'll definitely be going back to this one. Big thumbs up.
