    Lookout Mountain Preserve

    Enjoy hiking the variety of trails through the pet-friendly Lookout Mountain Preserve in Phoenix, AZ. This mountain is a smaller cousin to the more popular North Mountain area, located just to the south. Though lower in elevation than nearby summits, it provides a chance to hike to a peak and enjoy vistas without the crowds and steep elevation gains of nearby Piestewa Peak and North Mountain. Your pup is welcome to join you but must be leashed at all times. Visit Website

      good hike

      I gave this a 4 because it gets narrow in some areas making it hard for others to pass and not a lot of shade. It was an easy hike around the circumference. He enjoyed himself.
