Jag finally lets me get a pic at the park. Tested his DNA. 1/2 Australian Koolie, then the other half mainly Boxer, then some Irish Terrier, Shetland Sheepdog, Mastiff, and maybe Bulldog. Who would have known this when we got a "Lab/Mastiff" mix from Craigslist? Get a DNA test. It's fun and gives you insight.
This is a great park. usually no dog fights and if there is the problems are resolved right away.
Part of the open area.
Part of the open area and only a few of the dogs on a weekend.
Looking towards the main picnic table area. Where does my dog go when the camera comes out?
Parking area, and you can see the small dog park behind the 6' fence with the 4' fence in the center of the picture. Water (red spigot center of pic fence), seasonal.
There are 2 tables here. There are others, but this is the open area most people and dogs like to stay around because it's so open and easy to watch your dog play. A lot of regulars, but always new dogs and people. Few water pans and lawn chairs always available. Small children love it, BUT, it is the dogs' park. 100 .lb dogs on a full run playing not paying attention has been known to happen. (Quick words to the newbies, don't put snacks or dog treats in your kids pockets... )

    Huge!

My dogs had so much fun playing and running up the sloped mountain. Every owner that I spoke with was friendly and were watching their dogs attentively. So glad to have found this park for my 2 girls to play at

    GREAT!!

Thus dog park is exactly what my dog, Ford needs to release some energy. Every other dog there was friendly and their owners too! Definitely made some new friends, both of us! So many trails to run on and the place is huge. There are toys all over and ever water for your dog to drink. It really is a great sog park! Ford and I will be back every week!

    Wonderful Find In Spokane

After a long days drive, this park was a godsend. It was a distance from downtown but worth it. we went In late afternoon and the park did not have many people or dogs. Great area for dogs to roam and run with a nice view of the river. Bikers were also around but did not interfere with the dogs. would have been nice to take our dinner to eat while we were there but didn't plan ahead in time. Highly recommend this little jewel.

Go there. You will be amazed.

Been going there since summer 2013. Fun every time. Diversity in dogs. Lots of locals and tons of first timers, and dogs just passing through town. Always some rescue dogs learning the ropes. BIG area that includes open area, hills with trees, picnic tables (which the dogs own), and easy conversation if you want it with others, or stand back and just watch. Please don't take food or treats. My dog finds them in a second and becomes your best (worst) friend. Fully fenced, no concerns, let them run. They disappear into the woods for a while, then they are back. Parking is easy. River is across the street with easy access to the Spokane River (on leash only, it's dangerous to swim) if your dog wants to get its feet wet. Go there. Enjoy. Donate if you like it.

    Fun Park

This is a great place to take your dog, fully fenced large area. There is an area for small dogs as well as big. I would give five bones but water has yet to be installed. so in other words PLEASE BRING WATER!
