    Best Pit Stop Ever!

We are so glad to have found Beck Lake Dog Park! Taking a road trip across the U.S.A, we have stopped at many parks. None have measured up to this one. The park is really clean, the dogs and owners are friendly, and pups can cool off in Beck Lake. Schatzi had a blast swimming!

good size dog park for the dogs to run around, also has access to the lake. the dogs loved swimming and running around before a day in the car at Yellowstone.

Best Dog park I have been too

Area for dogs under 14 inches and then a larger area as well. The large area has a gate to the river. Super nice area for dogs to get in the water. Benches to sit and water dishes. Only water from the river. Benches to sit all around the area. We stopped and got lunch and enjoyed sitting by the river while our dog played.

the little dog area could use some attention, but it was quiet enough our dogs full run of the big dog area

    Improvements Made

The dog park was very nice and big with a really cute fire hydrant area for dogs to pee on. They have created parking since the last reviews, so you can just park right in front of the doggie area. Each pen is large with plenty of room to run. If you are on vacation and your dog has some yah-yah's, I'd definitely recommend visiting this park. There were water bowls when we went but no water, so I just brought a water bottle. Your dog can also drink from the lake. Will definitely be back!

    Great park!

Good-sized fenced areas for both small and large dogs to play off-leash, also open swimming beach for water dogs, and a nice walking path for leashed dogs around the lake with mountain views. Super way to start the day!

    Great!

This is a great dog park! It has 3 areas, one for small, one for large, and one that fronts on Beck Lake where dogs can get in the water.

The areas are all large, there's shade and benches to sit on and doggie bags available.

We visited here for a few days and took our dog down to the dog park every day! He had great fun playing with the other dogs and running around in the area.

    Beck Bark Park

This dog park is wonderful, but the less than convenient parking and lack of a water fountain are what lead me to knock it down one bone. You have to park up on the road and walk down a gravel path. My elderly dog has a hard time with the gravel and grade of the hill, but once we get into the park it is great. There are 3 sections and people are really good about picking up after their dogs. Most of us regulars usually bring in a few extra bags and pick up "orphan poop" that we find. The dog beach is closed in the winter when the lake is iced over, usually about mid November to mid March. The small dog area is huge as is the general play area, and people are very good about controlling their dogs for the most part. In all the time I have been going, I have not seen a serious fight, but I have heard of a couple of issues from others so do be vigilant. There is no water fountain or human "facilities", but your dog can get a drink of water from the lake in a pinch. If you bring a bowl and water, be prepared to be very popular with all of the dogs.
