    Great place!

The attendant was super nice! brought fresh water for the dogs. be warned-there are big mud puddles and standing water even a few days after it has rained. lots of shade. So much room to run that there was plenty of room for all!

    Spacious Areas

We went here to while on a weekend trip with our dogs. It was only about a 5 minute drive from our hotel. We have never taken our dogs to a dog park so we were a bit hesitant. I liked that there were multiple large areas so that we could go into an empty area. It was disappointing in the number of people who didnt clean up after their dogs, especially considering they did provide bags but while there I never noticed anyone not cleaning up after their dog. We typically went earlier in the day and in evening, there were fewer people during that time.

    Aggressive Dogs, Careless Owners

Brought my dog here and she was having a good time playing with a smaller dog. After a while another dog showed up and was being very aggressive with mine. The owner was paying no attention to her dog, and it got to the point where I had to yell at her to get her dog off mine. We won't be back.

    Ferguson Dog Park

My puppy is only 3 months old. We had a blast! It was during the winter we took her so it wasn't too busy. But all of the dogs were well behaved and everyone had fun. It was nice!!! I'll be taking her back again once the weather is nicer.

Nice that there's a city owned park

I like taking my dog here there are some pros and cons since this park is only been operation for 6 months.
    Pros: big completely fenced in
shaded area with benches and tables
    rinse off station
    dog fountain
Cons: water is not on yet so rinse off station and fountain are not usable
There are 2 trash cans located on the premises, both are at the front gate, so if your dog does its business on the other side of the park you have to bag it and walk across the park to throw it away
People don't pick up after their dogs
There is not seperate area for small dogs
The park is open late but there is no lighting
