We were on a long road trip with a stop overnight in Binghamton so we visited the dog park both in the evening and the next morning. It is big with plenty of trash cans for poop bags. There are a lot of people who clearly go there regularly and know each other and their dogs know each other. Consequently, when I thought a dog was getting a little aggressive, the owners didn't seem to notice. Otherwise, clean and large and my 65 pound, one year old lab burned off a LOT of energy there.

huge, well kept park— fully fenced in and spacious! usually you can find at least one other dog/owner there :) peak times are the best for lots of friends for your pup!! friendly owners, friendly dogs, what more could you ask for :)

This has 2 grassy fenced areas, a stream and pond for swimming, trails in fields and forested areas for hiking. It’s a great spot and we enjoy it.
What’s to complain about???
Every dog run area is apt to have an unsocialized dog or 2 on occasion. There has been perhaps 2 times we felt the need to leave the fenced area due to a dog problem out of plenty of visits since they opened the park.
This park provides plenty of other entertainments if the fenced area has unfriendly dogs.
Many dog runs do not have running water. That’s why the owner should have sense enough to have a jug in their car or a bottle in their pocket.

Unfortunately, the Texas owner found it necessary to give multiple opinions. It is a nice place to go and the dogs can run around. There is no water and shade as he stated but the alternative is to go nowhere.

There is plenty of space for your pups to run, and for you to sit! There is a nice creek for them to romp around during the really hot weather. Even though there is no drinking water for the dogs ( I was speaking with a member of the committee who stated it would be extremely difficult and expensive to have water inside the park), it's still a necessary and wonderful addition to our community!

I brought my Boxer Puppy to this dog park the people and dogs there were great. the park was clean and there is a place for my children to play. My dog was very tired when we left like he should be.
