Nice spot to hike. We have an elderly dachshund so we did the shortest loop (marked with green). Parts were shady, parts were in full sun so be ready with a hat or sunscreen if you’re going at a slow pace like us. We enjoyed the scenery and the dogs enjoyed sniffing somewhere new. We had a little picnic lunch by the rest area after our walk. FYI - there are lots of carpenter bees on the bridges and in the pavilion by the restrooms where we had lunch - they’re silly big fat bees that aren’t interested in stinging but may startle folks who aren’t used to them.

A nice place for a walk..plenty of trail options so you can decide how far. Signs warning about alligators. We didn't see any. There were large bee like insects near swamp areas. Bug spray recommended especially as weather warms and spring arrives. Bring lots of water.

Great trails for dog walking. Trails are wide for the most part and a mix between dirt, rock and boardwalk. Different trail lengths to choose from. we opted for the six mile loop with our pups.

This park has multiple trails in length to choose from. Trail markers help those of us directional challenged. Well maintained trails and dog friendly with water fountain and doggy bags available at the beginning.

Lots of hiking trails. Poop bags and trash cans available at the beginning of each route. Wide trails to scoot to the side when other dogs are approaching. Very nice.

Great place off the beaten path to unwind and get in touch with nature. The trails are well marked and range from semi-paved/gravel to well traveled grassy trails. We will continue to visit this spot regularly. Although, insect repellent will be a must in summertime months due to the wetlands. Be sure to bring plenty of water too, there are no fountains along the trails!

This is great place to unwind and enjoy nature with the whole family...including your "furry" members. We enjoyed a 3 hour hiking trip through the wetlands under a canopy of trees. It was peaceful, relaxing, and we look forward to many more trips to this park.
