      Great place to explore!

      Climbing rocks and running free on a beach! Plenty of sticks to fetch and places to dig in the sand!

      Great place for dogs & their humans!

      Beautiful beach with extended sandbars into the ocean. Plenty of room for the dog & kids to run and play!

      Big Space

      My husband and I came here with our two standard poodles. Huge beach and approx. 50 people walking around. Several had dogs. Some on leash, some off leash. The off leash dogs were behaved. One pit bull got loose from her owner and attacked a white lab who was playing catch with his owner. Everyone was ok. Otherwise, it was a very nice outing. Sun was out but temp was about 60 in June. Sand was wet so easy to walk on.

      Loved this beach and so did our dog!

      There is plenty of parking. It's better to go early though because there are more spots open on the beach. You can have your dog run around off leash and our dog loved being here!

      Dog Heaven

      I left Humboldt and I will forever miss watching my dog romp around and chase sticks in the Little River. This is the best dog beach ever, and one of the better beach combing spots for humans too. So much to see and find. Moonstone Beach at low tide was my favorite place in Humboldt to be with my dog.

      driftwood and fresh water with a great ocean

      Great beach for dogs. Safe, clean, shallow fresh water river on the beach and tons of Driftwood to toss
