    Great Dog Park

This was our first visit to this dog park which is about 2 miles from UGA Veterinary Hospital. We were here on a Tuesday afternoon and only 4 other dogs playing. All appeared to be well mannered dogs with great pet parents. There is a water fountain, low level for dogs and higher for humans at the dog park gate entrance. The day we were there, a construction crew was grading for more parking so the water fountain was a little dirty. There are many stations with bags to pick up after your dogs on the trail that leads to the dog park. We would definitely come here again!

    Our Favorite Dog Park

We love this dog park. It is nice and big and there is plenty of parking. There are three sections: two large dog sections (one is open at a time in order to keep them from getting rundown), and one small dog section. There are almost always at least a few dogs there for our pup to run with. Overall, I've seen good parenting practices here as well! :)

    Wrong address

Park address is 4440 not 4400. Temp dog park in an enclosed ball field. Dogs still had a good time.

Great park, but it's closed until 2015!

We went there for the first time today (May 3, 2014) and my dogs had a GREAT time. There were at least 8-10 other dogs in addition to my 2 and they had an absolute blast. There are picnic tables and benches under shady trees, a forest big enough for dogs to get "lost" in, but it's completely fenced in. There's a watering hose and lots of bucket for them to drink out of. The park supplies poop bags and trash cans, so it is a nice, clean park. There are grassy areas and dirt areas, for grazing and digging respectively. Everyone was really nice, people and dogs alike. And even if the dogs weren't BFFs, there was so much room, getting away isn't a problem. We had a great time and were sad to read the signs that the park would be closing on May 5th for the rest of the YEAR for repairs.

    SE Clark Park

Great place with lots of friendly dogs, everyone is usually very friendly but stay AWAY from the Bassett hound, Boomer! He is vicious!!! A great place for dogs!
