    Great Dog Park in Kirkland

This is a great Dog Park located in Kirkland. There is something for everyone. Small, medium or large dogs. They have a separate area for smaller breeds or new to dog park experience. There is plenty of room to run, play or roam. Most dog owners are mindful and do step in when play sometimes becomes raucous or an Owner feels their dog is being “targeted”. Always a great time for our two Shelties. Highly recommend-going mid Afternoon to explore and familiarize you and your pup for the first time.

Nice park. Good people. Sweet pups.

I have only been a couple times and to one of the reviewers points - there are two gates to pass through. I accidentally left the second gate open to the small dog area (no one else was present). However my pup took this opportunity to jettison through and easily crawl under the initial entry. I take accountability for it since technically it was my fault and I was aware that she could get under the first gate upon entry. However - a beautiful space. Lots of room for running and exploring. Convenient and not crowded. The folks and pups We did meet were friendly and welcoming.

    Not Suitable For Small Dogs

I took my 15 lb dog here to the small dog enclosure. There are two gates to ensure that in the case of one gate being left open, the second gate will keep your dog from getting out. This happened while we were there and he easily fit under the second gate, escaping. Luckily I got him back before he got hit by one of the many cars very close by, but we will not be going back to this dog park. If you have a small dog that is inclined to run off for an adventure, you shouldn’t come here.

this dog park is a lame

I do not care for Jasper's Dog Park. It is not very large and it's a hill. The bark that they cover the ground with gets on everything and makes finding your dogs poop difficult, especially if it rolled a bit downhill. Unfortunately, we do go here couple times a week simply because of its convenient location. When I have the time, I will go anywhere else.

    Good Recommendation

As a daily visitor to the Park, I can recommend the Park highly Both the dogs and their owners are very friendly and most make a very sincere attempt to pick up whatever their dogs leave behind. For me, the Park is a blessing and a home away from home..

    Not impressed

The only thing good about this park is the location. The park is on a hill with chunky bark as the foundation, it's small and has nothing spectacular about it. Just a squared off area enclosed by a fence. A city like Kirkland should have a better off-leash park than this. If I had to rate every off leash dog park I've ever been to I'd probably say this is the 2nd or 3rd worse I've been to.
