    Great Paved Walking Path

Lovely local pond with a 2 mile paved path, with possibilities to extend the walk. Easy, level path. Dog must be leashed (I always prefer to let my boy off leash, but this is too public a path). There are also dirt trails that segue off, but I did not explore them today.

    horn pond

Fun trails off the busy main lake. Plenty of excitement for dogs.

    Remember dogs must be leashed

Just a reminder that dogs at the pond must be leashed. Signs are posted.

    Great local place

Pros: Long trails, around a giant pond, easy parking, nice walk (especially at sun-set), family-oriented, nice people/dogs, large pathway for walking, has benches for sitting.

Cons: The pond itself is not so clean and your dog probably shouldn't swim in it. There are geese poop on the grass so beware. Trash cans are far in between, so you have to hold the poop bag for a while before you can dump it somewhere. Such a long trail with no way to cut through for a shorter walk, so you'd have to turn back around if you don't want to walk the whole 3 miles loop around the pond. Bring your own water. There are fountains, but very far in between.

Keep dogs on leash. No fenced area. It's just a park.
