Joey's Pet Outfitters Dog Park

Joey's Pet Outfitters Dog Park is a very clean 7 acre, fully fenced, off-leash park with a large pond. There are two convenient waste stations stocked with pick up bags. Members are expected to clean up after dogs and staff regularly empties the pick up stations. Joey's is a members only park which requires proof all vaccinations, rabies certificate, and appropriate license for all dogs. It's a wonderful place for dogs to run to their hearts' content and socialize. Fees depend on the number of dogs you have but there is a requirement of one adult per two dogs so they are properly supervised. No children under 16 years are allowed for safety reasons. The hours are dawn till dusk and entry is made with a key card for the gate. Parking is free. Expensive, but can be nice.
The park is okay. If you visit the website, the photos of the grounds are deceptively beautiful and well-kept while in reality it's hit or miss. The cost per year is a minimum of $500, which is incredibly expensive for the park that you get. My dog and I travel a lot throughout Michigan and she visits too many other parks to justify paying that much in membership fees. If you have the money, go for it. Otherwise, frequent another park.

This was a nice park for a couple of years but the owners raised the rates and stopped taking care of it. They wanted members top pay the fees and only shop at their store. Sad but it wasn't nice any more.
