    Nice and quiet

Great beach that is low key and less populated but watch out for high tide the beach disappears.

    I don't think this is off-leash

Despite what read elsewhere, this is definitely not an off leash Beach. It is clearly posted. Very disappointing as we rented a house for a week just for our dog to enjoy the beach. Be warned. :-(

    Great Off Leash Hike

Off leash hike in Lincoln city! God's Thumb trail is a Beautiful 4 mile moderate hike above roads end beach park. Be very careful near the peak as the trail is steep and narrow. Check out all trails for landmarks.

    Great beach, but always busy

This is a nice beach, and contrary to what the last post said, dogs are allowed off-leash, but only if they're under voice control of their owner. If your dog is being rude and not coming when you call it, then expect people to be annoyed. It's not a dog park, and not everyone at the beach likes dogs.

If you've got a dog that is still learning recall, this is not the best beach for your dog to be off-leash since there are always lots of people there. I used to take my big dogs to this beach and they loved it, but it's much better during the off season when it's less busy.

Also, for the love of Dog, please pick up your dog's poop! Yes the whales poop in the ocean, but they don't do it on the beach, do they? Pro-tip: kick a little sand over the poop and it's super easy to pick up. Just put a couple of the provided bags in your pocket as you head down. (Or bring your own if you don't want to spend 15 minutes trying to open the provided poo baggie.)

    Very Misleading

This beach and park is Not an offleash area. We were there today and every time I let my dog off the leash, somebody would run over to tell me otherwise.
