Reviews
Visitors generally find Presque Isle State Park to be a beautiful and enjoyable destination for dog owners, with some limitations on permitted beach areas. They appreciate the park's trails and unguarded beaches, though note the lack of rinse stations and difficulty determining where dogs are allowed.

Hard to decipher where dogs are allowed. They are allowed on the walk path / treeline and ungauarded beaches always while leashed. It seemed like one area was to the side of the lighthouse(?). On the unguarded beaches they must remain on leash even in the water and humans can only go so deep (knee or waste?). No place to rinse them. Absolutely beautiful area. Limited drinking water.

We went to beach 11 to the far end where it stated "unguarded beach" and setup for the day. Our pup enjoyed it but there was really no place to rinse him off haha

- MichelleMore than a year agoa fun state park for all
Just spent July 5th and 6th there with two dogs. We stayed in Erie at a pet friendly hotel and spend both days going to the state park. Walking and swimming all around with the dogs. They had a blast. We will be back again.
