Jean Lafitte National Historic Park and Preserve
There are a few pet-friendly areas at Jean Lafitte National Historic Park and Preserve in New Orleans, LA, including Chalmette Battlefield, the visitor center deck at Barataria Preserve, and in all parking lots. Pets are not permitted in Chalmette National Cemetery or on the trails of Barataria Preserve. Pets must be leashed at all times and may never be left unattended, even in vehicles.
