    what happened to this place

took my dog here for 2 years and im never coming back. The dog owners stare at you, are incredibly rude and don’t control their own dogs. My dog has gotten attacked and lunged at, while everybody stands around. absolutely useless.

    Great spot!

There's lots of room for dogs to run around! There's also several dog bowls, and even a dog drinking fountain. The "water play" is only in the small dog section, but there's a hose outside the dog park for hosing off your dirty dog from playing!

Nice park very organized and clean

we like this park it’s large and well maintained. we passed it by because it was just too muddy and the path to get there was so bumpy. it is temp closed due to the mud and the potholes.

    Currently closed as of 03/09/21.

We are visiting from out of town and wanted to stretch our IWH’s leg. entrance to dog park is chained. Police officer in park told us they are doing renovations. This is not reflected on their website.

    Great Dog Park

This is one of the best dog parks in central Connecticut.

They have two sides one for big dogs and another side for small dogs.

Plenty of benches to sit. And running water in the spring and summer time.

Note the dog warden is there a lot and checks for dog licenses, so make sure your dog is wearing theirs when you go here.

    good park, friendly people

really like this dog park. mostly grass. 2 separate areas one for dogs over 25 pounds and one for under 25. both big areas for the dogs to run around. no complaints here! will be back!

    Wonderful dog park!

My little yorkie had a fun time at this park! He played, he ran around the fenced in field, and he made some new friends! We both had a wonderful time at this dog park. I would recommend this park to anyone who wants their four-legged friend to have some fun with a specie like him!?????????

    Good place to go

They have water, some benches, grass, good size.

To me, the only down side is they only have immature trees. So, I bring my own chair to find shade on hot days.

    Definitely a worthwhile destination.

    First-timer

Griffyndor had never been to a dog park but we are in a hotel traveling. The people were absolutely amazing and their dogs were so tolerant and playful. There is a section for large and small dogs. My 10lb jack Russell LOVED being on the big dog side. This was such an amazing experience I cannot say thank you enough to the local hospitality!!!
