    Beautiful park

It is a beautiful park with a small lake where people boat In the summer. It has multiple trails and has one of the only wheelchair friendly “trails” in the area. That trail has 2 areas with wheelchair accessible picnic tables. There is a small boardwalk area as part of that trail. The main trail goes around the lake and there are a few ways to go. Its really cool because you walk on bridges that connect these little islands on the lake. There a lot of roots and things. My dog loves this park!

    Fun and Flat

Jeter and I visit this preserve often. No one I have seen put their pup on a leash, but there is a sign. There are streams that have to be crossed some have real bridges others have stepping stones. Jeter has a problem crossing bridges while I have a problem crossing shaky stones in a stream that are supposed to be a bridge. We got through it. Very friendly people and dogs. Bring water, there is none and no human bathrooms. If you turn before the bridges your walk will be shorter but drama free. During the winter Jeter walked across the frozen lake on Island Bridges. My heart was in my throat until he crossed. So if you have a Jeter put leash on prior to cross bridges or your pup may call an audible like mine did.
