I was thrown off when one of the reviews mentioned their dog running on the beach. To be clear, this beach only allows dogs on-leash. The lifeguard will remind you of this fact although they admit that they cannot enforce it which I believe they mean they can’t write you a ticket. After driving from the east bay, finally getting parking and carrying all our stuff and toddler close to the water (ok it’s not that far but we had a lot of stuff for the day) we decided not to leave for another beach even though we were pretty disappointed we couldn’t have our well behaved dog off-leash. When asked, the lifeguard said nearby “Its” beach allows dogs off leash so check that out instead if that’s what you were hoping for. The beach is perfectly nice for humans, soft sand, saw dolphins, not crowded on a Friday.

There were a few other dogs there when we went. It was a huge beach with lots of space to run around. our dog loved it and enjoyed just running. The tide was low so there was plenty of space to run. There is construction currently so there was a huge vehicles and large pipes on the beach. The vehicles were slow so it was easy to keep our dog away from them. It was a great location and wonderful beach. Looking forward to taking our dog there again.

This is a cute little beach. My dog loved it, it was her first time on the beach and in the water. It also has a little coffee shop and restaurants right on the beach which is convenient. I will definitely be bringing my dog back to this beach soon.

The only hassle is the parking. But once you find a place to park everything you need is right there.

This is a great beach, very pretty the dogs love i! It's right off the road easy to carry your stuff. It has bathrooms, a BBQ pit, & trash cans. Beautiful at sunset. Sand is clean and you can see a lighthouse just off to one side.

Parking is the only issue, but if you can get a spot it's not that far to the water. The beach doesn't have a lot of debris and no sewer smells, and the sand was softer then I thought it was gonna be. I will have to come back again.
