    Not A Dog Park

Technically isn’t a dog park. It is a Sculpture park that is fenced in and allows dogs. The locals made it into a dog park because of the amount of people that go there. However, I strongly recommend going and it has a water fountain for your pup as well. Just keep an eye on your pup if they’re know for sneaking out

    Ellen Clark Sculpture Park

The Ellen Clark Sculpture Park is not a dog park. It was not constructed to be a dog park. Dogs are currently allowed access. Those who frequent the area would be so kind to obey the signs and directions when the Sculpture Park is closed for maintenance and/or when the turf is too wet. SLU will be creating a Twitter account to better communicate with users of the Sculpture Park for their dogs.
The parks will not publish public times of availability due to weather conditions and maintenance. SLU will appreciate pet owners refrain from trespassing on University property when the Sculpture Park is closed.
Saint Louis University prides itself on the grounds and facilities of this Jesuit Institution. The staff of SLU will greatly appreciate owners of dogs who frequent the grounds of SLU to pick up your dog’s waste and excrement.

    Pretty good dog park!

First time visiting here the other day. The only two draw backs I could find were there is limited shade, and small dogs could easily squeeze under the fence or right between the bars! Haha. This is definitely a big dog park. There are some muddy areas, but do you think your dog cares about that?! Heck no! My pooch went right over and proceeded to lay, and roll in the cool mud. Was it a nuisance for me? Sure. But the pure joy on his face and how tired he was when he got home and was bathed was totally worth it. Pretty area to walk around too. Right next to the University and a lot of old historic buildings.

    Bad Fence

The Fence is not dog proof. We have two 40 pound dogs and they were able to walk through the fence into a very busy street

    Great off leash park

Great off leash park, especially for big dogs that love to run! It can get a but muddy during wet seasons and the grass is sparse at times but they try their best to keep up with maintenance. I love that they have a ground level water fountain for the dogs, especially on a hot day, they can't get enough!
