    Millcreek Canyon is a pet-friendly recreation area in Salt Lake City, UT. Dogs are welcome year-round, and are allowed to be off-leash during odd-numbered days. The are features incredible views of the Wasatch Mountains and stunning canyon scenery. Bring Fido for some play time in Dog Lake which can be accessed from Upper Big Water Trailhead Visit Website

      Great Location!

      The trails were easy enough for our new puppy. Great for unexperienced hikers. So many different options to go.

      Dangerous cars almost run over me and my dogs

      I love Mill Creek Canyon and have had an annual pass for years . I take my FJ to the bridges by Terraces and walk the path to the trails above. Today twice cars almost ran over me and my dogs as we were hiking up the trail. They need to drive slower or stop and let me pass. It is a narrow road but pedestrians and their pets need to be wary as cars twice brushed me as I was trying to grab my dogs away from their wheels on a short leash. It remains a dangerous situation.

      Great Location, Even when busy Spacious

      Super great place you can take your dogs. A lot of trails. Check their website for on and off leash days. $3 to exit canyon. BRING YOUR OWN BAGGIES!!!!
