    Nice Park, Very Popular

This dog park is very nice and maintained. Small wooded hiking section is my dogs favorite spot to hang. However, the large dog area can get pretty crowded by mid day.

    Awesome!!

I brought my almost 4 month old puppy here on a gloomy day to introduce him to a dog park! There is a HUGE small dog area with benches and some obstacles.

The middle section is the best as there is a wooded area that is fenced in. Lots of room to run around. When I was there, there were only nice dogs and nice owners that gave me a few tips!

    Will be returning frequently.

    Wonderful park, bad owners

This park is beautiful - huge open fields for running, wooded areas for exploring... we love this park. Except for the people. I've seen two men nearly get into a fist fight, a woman smack my dog for sniffing her dog, and under-attentive owners who let their aggressive dogs cause problems. Rarely is there an issue with the dogs themselves, but beware the people - especially on weekends.

    Bad Dogs, Bad Owners

This morning a woman brought two dogs, one of which was overly aggressive with mine. She left the field but let them loose in the wooded area, so my dog and I could not go in there. Then another woman brought in a Rottweiler mix who went after my dog twice. She didn't leash her dog or leave - and her dog lined up mine and deliberately went after my dog. As it wasn't safe to use that field or the wooded trail, we left. I thought perhaps I would take him to the small dog area and ask anyone there if it would be alright to come in there. A man was in there with his dog, about the same size as mine, medium/large. He said his dog might be "not nice" to mine. So, because of careless, stupid owners and bad dogs, my dog and I could not use any part of the park. Shame on them.

very nice, but watch for bad dogs/owners

went for the first time, had lovely time...until a low to ground, but large aggressive dog named Ozzie showed up in small dog area. he attacked my dog, and only then did the other small dog owners tell me he's attacked others there previously. owner left, never asked how my dog was. shame on her.

expansive dog park with lots of variety

The best dog park we've seen in north jersey. The wooded areas and varying terrain offer a welcome change to the regular fenced in rectangle. Plenty of friendly dogs on a sunny Saturday afternoon, some of whom are ready to run. The only thing missing are water features to swim in. To the folks in Morris County parks who got this installed and maintain it... Thank you!!

    FREE county park!

The park itself is great. 5 acres split into 4 sections. One is a small dog park. Then there are 2 rotating large dog parks (small dogs also welcome) and one additional area that's pretty much a fenced-in forest which is great for a very short off-leash nature hike (open to all dogs).

This is a very popular park so you are likely to run into some unnecessary personalities. If you have an issue with someone, you can easily move to one of the other fenced-in areas and problem solved :-)

Aside from a few bad apples, the people are very friendly and are always looking to make more furry friends!
