I personally love that this park is mostly dirt. For those that prefer grass, there is also a decent amount of grass. I also love that this park's small dog area is almost the same size as the large dog area, which is hard to find. The obstacles are also a huge plus. I've never seen any aggression or fights at this park. The only downside is often times, not many pups show up!

Nice park, but watch out for the people that bring their aggressive dogs. Generally they'll warn you if they have a mean fighter. Always bring a good stick or something in case you need it.

We took our 2 dogs to the park today, and they had a blast. The park was clean and roomy. Our Rottweiler and shepherd mix dogs played with all the huskies and pit bulls that were there today. We will definitely go back!!

We brought our 5 month old puppy here today and it was a great experience! Like other reviews we found the location a little challenging as College Park is huge...go in at Raiders Way and go to the Left...the dog park is on the left. People there were very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the small dog park area and there was plenty of room. Water and doodie bags available and adults were good about picking up after their dog. The dogs were very playful and enjoyed interacting with all the adults there as well. The adults there said good bye to us and said they hope we come again...and we definitely will next time we are in the Ventura area.

There are only two dog parks in Ventura...this one is definately the best! The small dog park is a good size and has plenty of space for them to run around with lots of equipment for them to play on. There are also plenty of benches for the adults to sit.
- MaryMore than a year agoFun, but hard to find.
I drove around the park for awhile but once I found it we had a great time. 2 separate yards for big and small dogs. Lots of agility equipment that we use if there is no one there to play with (which sadly happens quite a bit). The bath station is convenient, especially since 1/2 the park is dirt and boy does my slobbery pup get dirty. Would be nice if it was all grass. The dirt and hard to find is the reason for only 3 stars. Maybe signage at the entrance to the park would be helpful?
