  Dog park isn’t much

  Dog park itself leaves something to be desired, lots of construction in the area, but the Overlook park is leashed dog friendly and the 3/4 hiking trail offers beautiful views of the water.

  Don’t go

  I thought next to the River there would be some shade or trails but it is a rectangular sunny park littered with poop. Bring your own water.

  Skip this one

  Sandy Springs residents were promised a nice dog park with trees and instead got a large mud pit with no shade. Skip this park and hit the beautiful back trail along Bull Sluice Lake. Trail head is behind the kayak rental building at Morgan Falls Overlook Park. Morgan Falls is located where the original dog park was supposed to be located.

  This park has a lot of room for dogs to run. Two separate sides for large and small dogs. Has tennis balls for dogs to play and benches for the owners to sit down. If your dog likes to swim the Chattahoochee river is across from the park. My dog enjoyed swimming in the river. There weren't that many dogs when I went which was nice and enjoyable.
