Nice but note my directions from I-25

To avoid old town with narrow bumpy streets and traffic lights and Goodnight maze, Take Exit 96/Hwy 45-Pueblo Blvd West from I-25. Stay with 45 just past Zoo then Right into City Park. first right past pool and then Dog Park on Right.

5 Stars for all amenities but gave 4 because of poor mapping using Park Headquarters address, which is on opposite end of extensive property.

    Cute Park

This is a great park, we have visited at least once a day while vacationing in the area.

Trees, decent sized grass area, a few agility play items, water spout for the puppers, and human bathrooms to.

Parking is a little limited but it wasn't too crowded to be a big issue.

    Great dog park

We love this dog park. It is close to home and easy to get to. We take our 3 several times a week. There are usually plenty of other dogs for them to play with, and the facilities are great. Park goers donate plastic dog bags for poop, and there are always plenty, if you forget your own. There is a wide open grassy area that leaves plenty of room for your dogs to run, as well as an equally-large gravel area with benches and picnic tables, a ramp and tunnel for agility training, as well as a water pump and bowl for the pups. I definitely recommend this dog park!

    great dog park

While not huge, the Pueblo CO Bark Park is well designed and maintained. The human bathrooms were the finishing touch and greatly appreciated.

City Bark at City Park is open!

Pueblo Parks and Recreation would like everyone to know that City Bark at City Park is open. There were a lot of renovations done this summer, but most are complete with the exception of the year-round restrooms. Those will be open soon. Please bring your dogs out to City Bark! It is open during regular park hours.

    Dog park fun

This dog park has been a great place to take my dog for the last 2 yrs and he loves it! Its great to be able to have him off leash to run and play with other dogs and to also meet and greet other dog owners.

They have been making improvements and different dog agility items (ramp/tunnel/tree stumps at different heights).

the only problem right now is that its currently closed (has been since April 2nd 2014 and they don't have anything yet on when it will be back open due to updates/repairs). Per the website "ATTENTION: The bathroom has been moved to its permanent location at City Bark at City Park! The bathroom installation is the first of many upgrades to the dog park and will require it to be closed to the public until further notice. We will keep you updated on the progress of the upgrades! Thank you for your patience!"
