    Nice Park!

Super nice dog park in a great setting with plenty of parking. Large and small dog areas with water fountain and poop bags available. There are also many sidewalks to walk your dog around outside the fenced area. Worth the stop if you need a place for your dog to unwind and are passing through!

    First Time Visitors

First timers at a dog park. Even though my dogs didn’t know what to do, we still had fun! The only issue was no fountains.

We stop here while on a road trip, and were very pleased. Nice turf dog park, with large and small dog sides. It was really cool that it had some jumping hoops and a splash pad. Great for summer!

    Nice Small Dog Park Area

We visited the small dog park side of the dog park (which is a small AstroTurf area). It’s maintained better than most of the dog parks we’ve visited in the Birmingham area. Only complaint would be that our dog is small enough that it could go under the fence into the big dog section if it really wanted to.

    Disappointed

Really small and definitely going downhill maintenance wise. May be nice for the area but I definitely would not go out of my way to visit. Much better ones in Birmingham.

    Not the same park

This was the best dog park in the area but it has gone downhill. My dog was attacked by the vicious Cain Corsos that are at the park morning and evening. He had to have staples in his hip to close the wound. Not worth the safety of my babies to go back there.

    Good but needs some maintainence..

Take my dog there at least once a week on the puppy section.. There is some trash on the ground that people leave, picked up some plastic and paper today that could choke a puppy if they swallowed it.. Also, a piece of the fence just inside the gate on the puppy side area is bent a a sharp piece of the chain link fence at the very bottom is sticking out and my puppy hurt his foot on it last week.. And last but not least, the water splash area on the puppy side does not work, this needs to be fixed as hot weather is here and some pups like to play in the water.. Overall, this is a great place to take your dog to play and for both you and your dog to meet new friends... It just needs some minor maintainence..

    Wonderful Park

We take our snoodle there often. The park is wonderful. It is covered in a realistic turf so there are no bare spots or mud. Owners are courteous and clean after their pets. There are fountains for drinking and large ones for playing. Could not ask for a better dog park. For on leash walks, there is a long walking track nearby. The water fountains throughout the park have dog fountains on them.

    Wonderful Place

Fantastic time for dogs. Mine live in it every weekend. It is located inside Veterans Park in alabaster. 119 south toward montevallo. Not only the dog park but trails lakes and squirrels. Dogs dream come true. Literally.
