  So great!!

  After reading so many reviews saying this place was overgrown and unkempt we were so pleased to see it mowed and well maintained! It is spacious, has varied terrain, supplies of poop bags and receptacles, and fresh water stations. A local told me the original owner of the lot has passed away and it is now run via volunteers and donations. It is well worth a detour off the highway and a donation to the cause (donation info on sign at front gate)

  Lots of Space to Play

  We stopped here on a road trip. Lots of room to play, bags for poop, and water bowls. Our pups loved it. It was a good break from the long car ride.

  Could be amazing…..

  The dog park was once loved and I imagine it was heaven for those who visited. Sadly, the volunteers and the Board have forgotten how to trim fallen trees, pick up brush and even give the sign a fresh coat of paint. This park should be listed as a destination on “the forgotten places in Texas” tour.

  Horrible

  Went out of our way to take our dogs here before checking in to our airbnb. This park is not maintained at all. The small dog area's grass was about 2 feet all. Completely unimpressed.

  Not As Big

  not as big as advertised . grass is super along and spike in the grass. pop is not picked up and to small area for smal puppies

  An Awesome Play Day

  Nova and I had a fantastic fun filled day at HOT DOG park. I Love that they have large pools for the dogs to cool off in if they are so inclined. They have fountains for the drinking water so you don’t have to constantly refill the bowls. Nice trails to walk on and some shade from trees. Some dog parks have no trees

  It's mediocre

  The main area is alright. It's large and has plenty of room for dogs to run around, but there are stickers in the grass and there's usually poop all over the place. People hardly pick up after their dog. It's the only off leash dog park in Waco, so I'll definitely keep going, I just wish it was kept up a little better. Also, the 25lb and under part of the park is awful. I have a small dog and I just bring him to the main section because the small dog section is unkept and overgrown. Make sure you check your dog's paws for stickers when you leave!

  What a dog park should be

  This is worth the detour off I35 when near Waco. Turn is at the Texas Animal Medical Center. Could be better marked from the road for out of towners.

  Love the small dog park option!

  This place is awesome. Our dogs love their Sundays here!
