Went on this trail about a week ago on a Thursday morning and it was beautiful! No sign of any alligators, but we did see some respectful dog owners walking their good pups. Seems like a popular spot for dog walking. Poop bags provided at start of trail. Trail is also very well kept. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed this just under 3 mile loop trail. Good variety of wildlife and scenery. As others have mentioned, bring water on sunny days and keep pups on the leash due to gators. The parking lot is small which may be an issue at peak times. Overall recommended!

I would not recommend taking Fido here. there are lots of gators, and they LOVE eating dogs.

This is a very nice well maintained trail. Only thing I would add is a few more trash cans. My dog loved it. This is a hidden gem in Vero beach.

Please keep a close eye on your pet. There are some very large (and small) alligators in this area. Please DO NOT let your pet off leash

While the caption photo is misleading this is a leash trail, but well worth your time. If you enjoy time with your pet in a clean well maintained healthy place here is one for you. We arrived early in AM to cool comfortable safe trail.
Please bring water if you need and an extra bag for litter you may see, there was very little but it's always nice to keep them handy. There is extra large cover trash cans and recycle bins at the beginning of the trailbut none on route so lucky me my service dog has a back pack to carry anything we might need on this couple mile walk. Pleasant joggers and well mannered pets were all we encountered as we wound our way through mossy fern covered main trail, as we crossed over into the mangroves standing tall to protect the beautiful blue crabs who scurried into their.holes after hearing us . A important reminder to please pick up your poop. It just takes a second , it,'s good exercise and your ensuring a cleaner ecosystem for us all.
My big boy jump into to water and we headed back down the trail
The signs at the entrance warning of " low flying aircraft " are NOT kidding. While it appears they do everything reasonable to control them remember you are in a lush natural environment mosquitoes are a fact of life .If like my researcher you are vunerable spray up, maybe you dog too. If you have a low to the ground dog like my pal BOB they may not like the Adventure loop. Wear sturdy shoes the ground while very well maintained can be uuneven at times for older gals like me who tip over easily.
We enjoyed our experience and recommend it to any nature lover.
