Playful dogs and friendly dog parents. Great clean space. I have gone there for 14 plus years. During this time most of my experiences were great. I had 4 seperate bad experiences in 14 years.
10 years ago my pup got bit by a pitt. The pitts owner was hanging him from a toy, the dog fell and owner elbows his dog. My pup ran by and was seriously bit.
The other incidents were not major, the dogs parents were not controlling their dogs. - VickiSep 27, 2022Everything a dog park should be
Minooka is by far the best dog park we’ve seen. Completely fenced in with double door entires. Tons of room to play ball & run, flat & hilly areas, wide open & wooded areas. Separate parks for large & small dogs.

Great space for large pups. There are actually 2 large dogs areas, but they are connected so it makes a large space. lots of open area, a good sized hill for ball throwing and even a little wooded area.
Winter/spring can be a little slick and then muddy.Outside of the dog area there are trails for leash walking as well. there are also horse trails although I have never seen a horse on them, just some evidence of their passing. if you take to the trails you will not find garbages along the way, so plan to carry your dogs evidence out. also, this is a Waukesha County Park and they require a park odd or a $5 entry fee.

We took our newly licensed 4 month old puppy here for the first time the other day. Great place for dog socialization! I like that they don’t have a spay/neuter requirement, as our dog is too young to be neutered, according to our vet. Will be coming back to this dog park frequently!

We love Minooka dog park, and have taken our dogs there for many years. It is well maintained, the staff actively fences off areas to try to fight erosion to keep it nice. At times this is unsightly, but the dogs don't mind and there is still plenty of space. This is a dog park that is great for all kinds of dogs, whether playful or shy (we have both). Only thing is make sure to bring water, as it is not provided.

I take my dog here all year long and am sad when it closes for a short period due to poor turf conditions. Love the large breed area as it has paths in the back area by the woods and actually has trees and little hills to walk. Great exercise for me and my dog. Recommend this park over any others.

I've been in love since our first visit. There are two exercise areas for small or medium/large dogs. This is great for the little guys who are more timid. Both areas are huge. It's easy to spend an hour here and not cover the entire grounds. The large dog area has woods, a flat runway for fetching and other distinct zones to keep your pups active. There are also plenty of waste bins and poo bags available for clean-up. Do yourself a favor and buy a yearly pass. Otherwise it's $4 per visit.

Great park. Nice people. Excellent facilities. Bring your own water. Cleanup bags provided. Well-tended. I go to the small-dog area, and it's quite clean.
