Asheville Drum Circle

Bring your pup to this quintessential Asheville event and enjoy the camaraderie that abounds in Pritchard Park on Friday nights in the warm-weather months. Whether you want to watch, dance, or drum, you will find yourself in good company, surrounded by people of all ages, locals and visitors. The drummers usually begin showing up between 5:00 and 6:00 pm and the crowd continues to build until the drum circle draws to a close at 10:00 pm. Just keep Fido on a leash at all times and make sure he is comfortable in crowds and around drum noises. Visit Website

    Friday night fun

Stayed in downtown Asheville 04-15-2016. We come often and usually always bring our 14lbs schnoodle Cash. Asheville is extremely dog friendly and we hung out in Pritchard Park to enjoy the drum circle. There were 4 police officers close by and they never said a word about dogs not being allowed. 2 officers even talked to Cash and loved on him.

    dogs no longer allowed

We brought our two well behaves terriers to experience the drum circle. We were informed my local police that dogs are no longer allowed during the drum circle events, even on leashes on the outskirts. We were very disappointed.
