  Best Place in Toledo

  My dogs absolutely love this place!! They get so excited when we are at the light to turn in. They run, play, drink plenty of water, visit with other small dogs, and chase the big dogs along the side of the chain link fence. Plus, the park hosts many K9 and Owner events!!

  Awesome Community, Not For Passers-By

  If you’ll notice, any bad reviews on this place are from people who are just traveling through Toledo and wanted to come here one time, but couldn’t because it’s members only. I can appreciate that to a degree, but there are plenty of other free options in Toledo. The reason (and I love this about GC dog park) that you can’t do any sort of daily pass, is because they require veterinary records and proof of licensing with membership. $40 a year for that peace of mind was worth it for us. While free dog parks have their merits, I actually really love that there is this level of vetting for our daily use dog park. I want to know that the dogs that Reggie is playing with don’t have any health issues or anything like that. I also appreciate that there is oversight. If there is a problem with any dog or dog-parent, we can report it. We had an issue once at a different free dog park where a dog kept attacking our dog and other dogs, and the idiotic parent just laughed and didn’t do anything about it. If that ever happened here, there is a way to report this so that those type of dogs are not allowed here. It gives me peace of mind! They also do all sorts of events and things, and it’s just a really great community. So no, you’re probably not going to like it if you’re just passing through, but for a close-knit community feel for people who actually live in the area, it’s amazing!

  My kids love the park!

  This is a wonderful dog park, lots of doggie friends and people friends too! My dogs arrive all excited and leave tired!!! A tired dog is a happy dog!

  Great park!

  We love GCDP. Features we like: 3 play areas (one just for small pups), pools during the warmer months, a walking path inside the fence, agility tools, that pets are required to be up to date. I like the annual fee - which is certainly reasonable. You get what you pay for. The free dog park downtown does have all the amenities and doesn’t have the same requirements for their dogs - which can be a safety issue.

  Love The Park

  I've been a member since day 1 and like the fact that I know all of the other fur babies are up to date on vaccinations and are all spayed/neutered.
  My pup gets so excited when he sees we are driving in, he can hardly contain himself.
  The park is very well kept and is a big plus for Toledo and area residents.

  World Class dog park

  This park was well thought out and perfectly executed. Toledo has been in need of a dog park for some time, and I am so happy that my dog now has a large, safe, fenced in area to run. All of the other dogs and people have been wonderful, and I have never had a bad experience. Thank you Toledo Glass City Dog Park!
