- JennMar. 22, 2023Nature Trails have opened back up for the dogs
When the soft trails were closed to dogs I lost interest in going to the park. My husband continued to bring our older dog on the main paved trail but it wasn't fun for me so I stopped for the most part. We have 4 other pups and when I was visiting the trails with a student recently learned that the soft trails were accessible again! And they have added MANY new trails and side excursions. I've been back twice in the past week and look forward to making it a regular part of our routine again. Just wanted to make sure people like me were updated on the new access for dogs so no one misses out on the beautiful experience.

This is a great dog park situated within Conestee Park. The park itself has playgrounds, trails, sports fields, shelter areas and restrooms. The dog park is wonderful because it’s big enough for the dogs to run wild. lots of trees for shade. lots of benches for the humans to sit. plenty of trash area to throw poo bags. the dogs always seem to happy and excited to be there. I literally have to drag my dog out because he doesn’t want to leave. And I’ve spent easily 2-3 hours in this park while he romped around. Also, Dillard’s Ice Cream is down the road if you want a treat.

I like this park. It could use some clean up so far as posts/hay bales go that they had in. Its on a bit of a hill/slope, and has some trees in one area, so if you’re not following your dog around closely and two dogs aren’t getting along it could be harder to get to them quickly.
The water is clean, there’s also a hose in front of the entry gate. It’s one we come back to every now and then.

I have 4 bones because it’s off leash, the dogs have fun, plenty of water, free poo bags, and tons of space.
1 bone lost, the benches should be updated, the posts should be removed and the hay, and some type of obstacles need to be added. also, some trash cans near by.

We bring our little ones here almost every weekend. Great place for them to play and plenty of shade during the summer. Just wish more small dog owners were here. There's a lot more big dog owners in this area I suppose.

Well kept and friendly people
- ErinMore than a year agoWonderful Dog Park. There is an important reason why small children are not allowed!
This is an amazing dog park with law-abiding citizens who clean up after their pets. The reason children are not allowed is a simple one - SAFETY. Children may get hurt inside a dog park if a dog fight breaks out. Luckily this dog park is located within the Lake Conestee Park complex, so just leave your children outside the fenced-in area for their own good. How sad is it that complete strangers care more about children's well-being than their own parents?

I love this dog park, but after being accosted by two fellow Park goers about having my children with me I was no longer able to use the park. Although it does not say so on its website, no children under the age of 10 are allowed in the park. Some patrons actually barred my entry because I had my children, although I had called the parks department and gotten permission for them to enter, the park is beautiful, but unwelcoming to those with families.

Ellie, my GSD, loved this park and so did her human! Well shaded with lots of trees, good water supply, and poo bags are provided too! So glad we found this park while visiting the beautiful city of Greenville, SC.

I loved how nice the whole area was and the dog park area was almost completely shaded.
