  Dog owners of Salmon arm, surrounding areas and people with pets passing through should be able to have a fenced off leash park to let their dogs run around and interact with other dogs. This park is not recommended as its a pet safety concern.

  where is the fence ?

  The park is partially fenced it might as well have no fence. Its near by roads and traffic pose a hazard to dogs especially puppies. Even a trained dog maybe distracted and not obey recall. Salmon arm needs a fenced dog park with 18000+ people not to mention visitors that want to take their dog to a controlled environment its long over due.

  Big park

  Awesome space and huge!!! Very close to Best Western where I stayed for the night. This off-leash is available to dogs when there aren't any horse shows. It is really within walking distance from Best Western and is located at the corner of 5 street and 5 avenue, across from a skate playground park.
