    Beautiful dog park!

Beautiful dog park, however the owners who bring there dogs should try keeping them under control. I went for a relaxing afternoon with my pups and this rude blonde lady and her dog Finley happened to be there. Her dog would not stop jumping on me, ripped my leggings and bruised me! So be aware, owners may not care if their dog is reckless, blame it on you, and just yell the dogs name from afar instead of addressing the problem!

    Small but functional

We stopped in at the Riverpark Dog Park as we drove from Durango to Denver. There are actually two parks one for small dogs and one for bigger dogs. The park is small but functional. The park is quite rocky and overgrown with weeds but most dogs don't care, right? There's a sign in sheet for everyone who visits in order to show need to the builder/sponsor.

Close by you can actually take your dog into the river. It was flowing fast while we were there but we were able to find a shallow, calm spot for a quick dip and cool off
