  Huge, clean, secure dog park

  Excellent dog park. Gorgeous views of the water, plenty of shade, benches, poop bags, trash cans, secure gates and fences. We stayed about an hour and our very energetic husky was tired from all the laps she ran.

  Excellent Place!

  Beautiful location. Great parking. Walk past the playground and soccer fields. Use the path along the river. Beautiful. Large dog and small dog areas. Very secure. High fences. Visited in late December, so the water fountain was shut off. Which I completely understand. We always have water. Clean grass area. Poop bags and a barrel in each area. We got lucky and had a sunny day in the 50’s. Stayed about an hour. Just what our girl needed before a long drive south.

  Bow WOW WOW!

  First long trip with a two and a half year old English lab was an exercise in bathroom breaks. She was pretty patient with us as we learned to anticipate her needs but her need for exercise was a concern.

  This dog park had solid reviews and did not disappoint. Two huge fenced in fields - one for small dogs and the other for large ones - located above the Shenandoah River along a walking trail and beyond a small playground.

  Nothing much but large grassy area to run. Bring a ball or Chuck-It. We were lucky and found a terrific stick to throw. In July the gnats and flying insects were annoying to humans but did not bother our pup at all.

  They have water fountains for humans and dogs and doggie bags and disposal cans. We were there when the county employees picked up the “trash” so they keep it clean.

  Our pup was thrilled to work off her energy and slept for hours afterwards in the back seat.

  The BEST Dog Park We Have Visited

  BEST. DOG. PARK. EVER!!! This is a hidden gem with a walking path along the Shenandoah River with beautiful Virginia Bluebells in bloom during the spring. The small dog park is big, probably close to one acre. And the large dog park is super-size, probably close to two acres. Wonderfully maintained, both small and large parks are all grass. There is a water supply too. Our dog loved it and we loved it too. Thank you Front Royal and Warren County for such a wonderful place for both dogs and their humans.

  HUGE and awesome dog park!!

  There are separate fenced in areas for big and small dogs, and the big dog area is HUE!!!! There is so much space and so much grass. This is a well maintained dog park!! My pups loved it!!
