    Nickel Plate Beach

We only gave this beach 3 stars.
We really wanted to swim but the water was dirty and several dead fish on the shore. The sand was nice and soft. Also please note that they don’t allow dogs there between 10am and 6pm.

Nickel Plate Beach is the best!

We took our dog to Nickel Plate beach on a beautiful mid-Sept day, middle of the week when not too many people were there and it was so much fun.

    NO DOG ALLOWED TODAY

Drove 1.5 hrs to this beach. Closest beach that shows to allow dogs only to be told, "No dogs today".

    Dogs loved it!

We brought our 15 year old Boxer and 10 year old Chihuahua over the 4th of July and had a great time! It is a bit of a walk to get down to the water and the sand is hot so be prepared to protect your pups feet.
