    My Favorite Beach!

The cleanest beach in Galveston! I love coming to Stewart Beach! The parking is $15.00, but it lasts all day, so you can come and go the entire day with only one payment as long as you don’t lose your ticket! However, if you’re not a Texas resident be mindful that it is HOT in the summer & our sand gets H O T !! Please check that it’s not too hot for your pups to walk on, and potentially consider booties! I have severely burned my feet on the hot sand at Stewart before!

    Clean Beach

The beach was clean, parking was $15, but overall we got a good time with our puppy!

    A Good Day!

Parking was $15, but it was really close to the actual beach. It was maybe a minute or two to walk to my car, which is a good thing when you have dogs. This beach is marketed as the “family-friendly” beach, probably because no alcohol is allowed. Dogs are allowed on-leash, but within 15 minutes, someone had showed up with 3 dogs without leashes. It was pretty clean, not a lot of trash. And there were a lot of trash cans to put your trash in. There was a lot of dried seaweed. The pavilion prices were decent ($10 for some water shoes) and they had a snack bar, store, and restrooms/showers to use. They also have umbrella and chair rentals. I would go back to this beach.
