Hempstead Lake State Park
Hempstead Lake State Park is a dog-friendly destination in West Hempstead, NY. You and your pup can explore the hiking trails and non-guarded beaches. Only two pets are allowed in the day-use areas unless prohibited by a sign or directive. Proof of rabies vaccination shall be produced if requested by staff. Pets aren't permitted in playgrounds, buildings, golf courses, boardwalks, pools and spray grounds.
