    Favorite spot!

My dog loves it here. Clean, well maintained, overall amazing opportunity for pups to run and play. Rarely see a negative pup interaction and the few that have were immediately leashed and left. It can be very busy and most pick up after their pets. The fenced wooded and field area is a fantastic addition.

    Best park I’ve been to!

This is one of the coolest dog parks I’ve ever been to. Green, beautiful, large. The off-leash trail area is very cool, although I have a small dog and he does get lost in there so I keep him on-leash just in case. We’ve been tons of times and we love it every time.

    Great Park!

I wish more dog parks could be like this. We chose to walk through the off-leash dog trails that are fenced in. It's perfect for dogs who like to explore wilderness areas and who are fine with other dogs but aren't necessarily interested in too much play time. You'll get through the main trail pretty fast, but there are also little off-shoot trails that your pups will enjoy. And you can feel totally relaxed while they wander through the area since it is fenced in.

    LOVE this dog park!!!!

Just visited this park yesterday and I was definitely happy we made the 30 minute trip from Holland area. It has doggie water fountains, trails you can take your dog off leash as well as trails along side you can take your dog on leash that goes down by the Grand River. I really wished I lived closer to this ( we’re from Jackson area)... They have nice bathroom area and a pre pay self dog wash if your dog gets a bit too dirty lol. There is also a small dog area. Wonderful!!

    Dog Wonderland!

We were visiting the area from out of state with our 11 month GSP, Duke. This is such a beautiful, well kept park! We started in the large fenced play area. There is grass that is well cared for and an asphalt path for the humans if they prefer. There is a water fountain for people and dogs. At the far end, you can exit a gate into the wilder but still fenced dog area. There are trees and tall grass with mowed paths. There were a few areas that looked to have been quite muddy once, but all dry in summer. We decided to exit at the far end to connect to the other paths in the park. We walked down through woods to the river, and there was a small area where our dog could get in and swim. The dog wash looked really cool and clever, like a do it yourself car wash! But we skipped the $5 bath. We visited twice and met some really nice locals and dogs that gave us the lay of the land!

    Worth The Trip

This park was a bit farther than other’s from our hotel, but it was absolutely worth the drive.
The play areas are so well maintained, have plenty of benches to sit, and the off leash trails are an added bonus and fun.
The big dog area does have two pools, so it was nice to cool down.
There is a dog wash as mentioned it their description, however it’s a minimum of $5 fee. So no quick rinse type of deal.
If you are in the area, definitely stop by.

    Best Dog Park Ever!!

They do a GREAT job keeping this place clean and well kept. Very large areas, with built in dog bowls. There are also tons of hiking spaces, that are fully fenced. So you can let your dog roam, while knowing they can't go too far. They even have dog baths located right there if you dog gets dirty. There isn't anything I would improve or change about this place - It's awesome!

A Doggie Heaven on Earth... except when muddy

This is a wonderful spacious public dog park... and I've been to many, both private and public. There are 2 all-dog fenced-in areas (however only one is opened at a time to allow grass to regrow in the other) and a small dog fenced-in area that is open all the time. Each area has paved pathways, benches, poop bag dispensers everywhere, a sheltered concrete pad, water fountains (people and dogs), and entrances are double gated. In addition to those fenced areas there also is a large adjoining grassy field and woodland and under-bush area with paths which is also fenced- in and thus off-leash. This area can be used to get more one-on-one with your dog as you walk the weaving pathways. The larger park is 186 acres access through a network of nature trails (and one wide paved pathway as well) with wooden features interspersed through open forest and bordered on one side by the Grand River. There is a 100 car paved parking lot that includes a clubhouse with human bathrooms, vending machines, and a pay dog wash facility. Its a great dog park. Dog density can be rather intense on sunny weekends (containing more than 100 dogs and their owners sometimes) and it should be noted that the clay soil gets very muddy after days of rain and becomes a real mess that can take many days to dry out.

Getting better and better all the time.

This is becoming a great park. There are two large dog areas and a small dog area. The hidden gem is the acres and acres of fenced in trails. They added a lot of drain tiles to keep the mud down on the trails, but if there has been a lot of rain, can still be muddy. There is a big field that is fun to let the dogs run looking for bunnies.

There are lots of water fountains and benches, There are human bathrooms as well as a dog wash station. This year they added a suspension bridge from the back side of the park across the ravine to the front side. This is a leash required area. But offers a nice feature.

Always lots of dogs here. If they are misbehaving, I just go out to the trail area where it is less busy.

    Great Amenities, Not Great People

The amenities at this park are great including a drinking fountain for dogs, big fields to run, and fenced in trail areas your dog can hike with you at. Unfortunately our experience wasn't the best here on a busy weekend. There were many children who kept trying to mess with my dog (shoving its face further into the drinking fountain water bowl, sticking their hands in his mouth while he was wrestling with another dog, running around him and triggering his herding instinct then getting upset when they got their heels nipped). I'd estimate there was a poop pile every 5 feet someone had neglected to pick up. And on top of it all there was a pack of big huskies roaming around and chasing down/pinning any dog smaller than them and their owners did not remove them from the area after multiple incidents. Personally, we'll pass on this park during busy hours, there's just too many people with no manners. But this would be an amazing place to spend a quiet week day when most are at work.

    Good Park

This is a good dog park with three separate fenced areas for dogs to run around. The trail area is fenced in as well which allows a large amount of acreage for the dog to run around. You can also leave this area and continue the trail down to the Grand River. This area can get extremely muddy/mushy after rains and for a few days after. Recommend going when it has not rained.

    great for walks and play

They are currently in the final month of construction of this park. It currently has most of the fences around and paths are either paved or mown grass. It is a great place to let the dogs play and stretch their legs.
